Walk from Hertford to Enfield

Spring is here & I am pleased to remind you of the date of our first 2015 New River walk: Sunday 19th April.

Start points:-
Hertford North Station at 09:45
or
Hertford East Station at 10:00

For those of you travelling out from London on the Kings Cross to Hertford North train service, having checked the Govia website, I am pleased to confirm that as at Sunday 12th April, other than the below, there are no scheduled service changes. However, I suggest that you double check closer to the date!

Until approximately 07:30 Southbound trains will not call at Hornsey or Harringay. Please use northbound trains, changing at either Finsbury Park or Alexandra Palace as appropriate, to complete your journey if travelling to/from these stations.

There is no service between Moorgate and Finsbury Park on Sundays; trains run to/from London King's Cross.

Below is a reminder of the remaining walk dates for 2015:

• 28th June - New River Enfield to New River Head
• 27th September - New River Whitewebbs Loop (includes an optional chargeable visit to Whitewebbs pumping station (now the Whitewebbs Museum Of Transport) to view the well that fed water into the New River)
• 18th October - River Thames walk - start at Woolwich - Thames Barrier - Emirates Cable Car (optional chargeable) - 02 - to end at London Bridge
